The TurtleBot 3 is an autonomous robot that serves as an effective platform to experiment and prototype new ideas for autonomous robotics. This project seeks to enhance the TurtleBots capability in delivery scenarios and by proxy other autonomous delivery robots by implementing a battery management system. This system will monitor the batteries as well as make estimations on how much charge will be required for the TurtleBot to complete a delivery. This will allow the TurtleBot to make intelligent decisions on the feasibility of a delivery. The system utilizes scalable infrastructure to support multiple batteries, allowing the user to extend or adjust the operation life of the TurtleBot as desired.
