The nature of trust relationships between users and the many computerized agents people interact with daily is poorly understood. Previous research points towards the legitimate formation of trust relationships between humans and computerized agents (Thirunarayan, et al., 2009). This experiment will explore how such trust relationships are built and broken by compelling subjects to make choices between two computerized agent's suggestions in a game setting. Based on a modified 'match-3' game reminiscent of Candy Crush Saga or Bejeweled, the modified game restricts the user's agency by forcing them to choose between two predetermined 'swaps' on the game's board.
