For Oral Sessions
Please arrive a few minutes early so that you can offer assistance if students need to upload their presentations onto the classroom computers. If you should have any difficulty with the computer, look for the student ITS help staff. They will be wearing nametags that say ITS Student Technical Support. There is one student for approx. 3 classrooms. They have been instructed to come in at the beginning of the session and introduce themselves to you. You can also call Learning Environments - ITS Staff Help Line at X7007 for assistance.
Presentations are scheduled to be 20 minutes in duration, including time for questions. It is important to adhere to the schedule so that people can move between sessions when necessary. The times for each presentation are noted on the program. If you need to modify the schedule of your session in any way, please make sure to communicate your plans with the speakers clearly ahead of time, and let the Director of Undergraduate Research know so that the changes can be reflected in the online schedule and the printed addendum.
For Poster Sessions
Please arrive a few minutes early in case students have questions about putting up their posters. The poster boards and easels will be available in each location. Students have been instructed to provide their own pushpins, but some extras will be available if they are needed.
