Urban Farming: A solution to agricultural problems?

The purpose of this research is to investigate the state of agriculture in the United States and the strengths and weaknesses of urban farming as a response to agricultural problems. This research is important because it addresses the area of nutritional weakness and lack of food equity in the US . Three exploratory case studies were conducted; data was collected from internet sources and information from farm manager(s) or staff. The strengths and weaknesses of the three programs were examined and policy recommendations are made.
