Schoolchildren in the Age of Trump

The current study explores the disciplines of political science and developmental psychology, specifically with a research emphasis on schoolchildren and the 2016 presidential election. A brief literature review of applicable articles to the focus of this study is provided in order to supplement a relationship between the in-class behaviors of schoolchildren and the tumultuous dynamic of the recent presidential election. Additionally, the background of the ideas for this project is highlighted in addition to the hypothesis for this project. Next, the methodology of the current study, Schoolchildren in the Age of Trump, is explained in detail on how the results were achieved through surveying teachers within an entire school district. Furthermore, the results are displayed in various figures and tables as well as quoted responses from participating teachers to the survey that was distributed. In addition to the results of this study, conclusions and relationships are illustrated with support from prominent psychological theories and the data of this study.
