The goal of the GlueX experiment is to map the spectra of light hybrid mesons, specifically those that decay into ηπ final states. Prior to searching for hybrid mesons, GlueX needs to show that it can successfully identify more established mesons, such as the a0 (980) and a2 (1320). GlueX has been focusing on the a0 (980) and a2 (1320) decaying to an η and π, with the eta decaying to 2ɣs. My work explores the feasibility of reconstructing a0,2→ηπ with the η→3π0. I will present mass and angular distributions that highlighting the a0 and a2, and show that this is a viable decay mode to study.
