The GlueX experiment at Jefferson Lab is designed to map and study the spectra of light mesons. It does this by utilizing a polarized photon beam incident on a liquid hydrogen target that results in the photoproduction of many vector mesons including the ϕ(1020). The angular distribution of the production and decay of the ϕ(1020) can be fully described by spin-density matrix elements (SDMEs). In this work, I present the SDMEs as a function of the squared four-momentum transfer (-t) for the photoproduction of the vector meson ϕ(1020) and its decay to π+π-π0.
