The Global Child, Cambodia

We will be discussing our experiences as 2018-2019 Union College Minerva Fellows. We have spent nine months working at The Global Child in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The Global Child is a nonprofit school for children who would otherwise be on the streets. It provides the students with a rigorous education and a stipend for them to help support their families. Our main role was teaching English, but we were also there to help with anything that the school needed, so we wore many hats during our time in Siem Reap.
