Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the major histological subtype of liver and intrahepatic bile duct (IBD) cancer, accounting for 70-85% of all liver and IBD cancer cases worldwide. We estimate the survival rate of patients with HCC by their demographic and cancer traits. From the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database, we extract 43,817 patients' information, including 12 different variables, such as age, cancer stages, tumor sizes, etc. We analyze the data using the Kaplan-Meier Model and Cox proportional Hazard Ratio to predict the patient survival rate, and further validate the results with the Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) curve.
