The Klemm Fellow International Internship Program is a highly selective program which places Union students in a foreign country where they work as an intern in a local organization and stay with a local host family. I was one of eight undergraduates selected for a three-week immersive learning placement where I worked in Arusha, Tanzania, with a Human Rights Lawyer regarding human rights abuses and their psychological consequences on underserved women and children. This presentation will be about my day-to-day duties and responsibilities, discussing my work with different populations in Arusha who were affected by human rights violations.
