Consensual non-monogamy (CNM) is the practice of taking part in more than one romantic or sexual relationship at a time, in an ethical way. It can be classified as either an identity or a practice, characterized by mutual consent, communication, and setting boundaries. Many CNM individuals who are sexually active have unique concerns when it comes to having a healthy sex life, and yet CNM is very misunderstood and underrepresented. So, I created an educational video on sexual health to contribute to a better understanding of CNM people and provide these people with a feeling of acceptance and understanding that they may not always get. Specifically, I explored the topics of communication, STI education, jealousy, and family life. The video was aimed towards adolescents and young adults, especially those who practice CNM. This presentation will focus on the process of collecting information and curating it for the target audience, the overarching goals behind the video, and the interviews conducted on CNM participants.
