This project develops an Augmented Reality (AR) application that generates realistic 3D models of users' pets from photographs. The system processes these images to generate a personalized 3D model, which appears in the user's real-world environment through the Oculus Quest 3's passthrough AR capability. Users can then engage with their virtual pet through interactions such as petting them, doing hand gestures for commands or walking the pet. This technology aims to provide emotional support for individuals separated from their pets, whether due to distance or loss, offering a comforting presence during moments of need.
